Jared supported Tango at a critical, early juncture in Tango’s journey. He set the foundation for frameworks that would define what Tango would build, why we’d build it, and who we’d serve. These frameworks for discovery, ideation, and prioritization persist today - nearly 3 years and 25 employees after our first engagement with Jared and SIDO.
In a time of chaos, Jared calmly stepped in to organize our product design and development. SIDO was critical to achieving our beta launch on schedule while exceeding customer expectations. Without Jared, we would not have achieved the traction needed for a successful seed fundraise.
SIDO’s philosophy and work is the difference between startups that make it and those who do not.
Jared was instrumental in shaping our product vision. He brought great enthusiasm, passion, curiosity and a willingness to dive deeply into the subject matter. His creative team was excellent and put together a complete vision for our product roadmap - including features, copy and design.
It’s rare to work with a consultancy that is open to sharing their knowledge with your team. In three months we went from a bare bones product organization to an entire research vertical integrated into the business. SIDO not only set up the systems, but they also educated the team so we can continue the good work long after our engagement has ended.
I was very impressed with SIDO’s knowledge but even more impressed with their ability to break down design complexity into digestible, actionable, easy to understand advice. They helped us see gaps in our product and website that needed immediate attention. Listening to SIDO explain how to make design decisions was very impactful as well.
The amount of engagement the activities received was incredible – people were excited and having fun! All of the folks [users] were willing to give feedback immediately and enjoyed the session so much that they stayed over an hour after to talk more about the app with other groups. That was special considering all of the groups were split in a way where most people had never met each other. I’m not sure what they enjoyed more, the session or the app itself.
